Duxbury Daughters of the American Revolution Visit Registry
Posted on: October 30, 2017 - 9:24am
Last week, we hosted a visit of the Duxbury Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution at our Plymouth office. After an operational tour of the Registry, they were shown several of our original Plymouth Colony records, including the will of Myles Standish. Special thanks to Ellen Maddox Blanchard, a member of the Duxbury Chapter of the DAR and an Assessor for the Town of Carver for organizing the event. One of the roles of the Daughters of the American Revolution is promote the history of our great nation.
